All of life is yoga. ~ Sri Aurobindo
Tara Scott is certified in Hatha and Vinyasa with As You Are Yoga (Lansing) and nationally
registered (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance. In 2008, Tara founded
dharma yoga arts with the vision to introduce the community to the “art of skillful living through movement,
mindfulness and meditation.”
Having earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Cinema Studies from New
York University, Tara considers her yoga journey to be an extension of a long-term inquiry into human
relations and communications. This certified Reiki Level 1 practitioner (Reiki Arts Continuum, NYC) also counts her
experience as a student-practitioner of Pilates and Network Spinal Analysis as preparation for her training
in this healing art.
Tara's approach to yoga is deeply inspired by music, nature and her mindfulness
practice—evolving into what she calls the the rhythm & fuse experience.
She is a member of
the Lansing Area Mindfulness Community and founder of the Yoga Teachers Circle.
